AVAREO was born because of the concern of its two creators, Francisco Bejarano and Juan Carmona, immersed in the olive tradition and culture of the northern countryside area of Jaén, in the town of Arjonilla.
Aware of the changes that are taking place in the olive, in which sustainable development with the Environment and the production of quality olive oils, a symbol of health and well-being, starts the project to produce Extra Virgin Olive Oil of exceptional quality, supported by the experience of its creators and predecessors in this process.
Parallel to the traditional cultivation of olive groves and the sale of our olives to local cooperatives, we have developed our professional careers (biologist and economist) for several decades linked to the world of olive groves, the basis of our family and local economy. At this point, we have decided to combine our efforts and passion for the olive grove to face this challenge. This is embodied in obtaining an extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality, which is recognized by our customers, and allows us to continue with the profitable exploitation of the olive grove, while contributing to the maintenance of our rural environment, both from an economic, an also social and environmental point of views.
We run family olive groves and employ people from our town.
After the acquisition of several farms and determined to change the current production model, this project emerged, backed by the technical and financial experience of its founders in this agricultural sector.
